The YMCA will have its annual shut down week August 30-September 6, 2010.  We will reopen for regular hours starting Tuesday September 7, 2010.  During this week the YMCA will be cleaning, refinishing floors, and upkeep in the facility that we cannot get to during normal hours.  This is all done in preparation for our heavy traffic time during the fall and winter months.  Our front office will be open Monday August 30-Friday September 3 from 8:00am-1:00pm for registrations and memberships.  We thank you for your patience during this time.

The 25th Annual Downtown Runaround is just around the corner. This is a fantastic 5 mile run and a 2.1 mile run/walk. The start & finish for the 5 mile and 2.1 mile run/walk will be at Glur's Tavern this year. Both races will begin at 8:00 a.m. sharp on July 24, 2010. Entry fee is $15.00 if postmarked on or before July 16, 2010, $20.00 after July 16th. No registrations accepted after July 21st. No race day registrations will be accepted. All participants will get a T-Shirt and pizza and beverages after the race.

The 16th Annual Junior 1-Mile Runaround will be Friday, July 23, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at Pawnee Park. Prizes and refreshments for all finishers PLUS door prize drawings for all who pre-register. Optional T-Shirts - $5.00. Must be 12 or under.
