Golf Strength & Conditioning Course

It’s not a secret that the most vital piece of golf equipment is the human body, yet most golfers think it’s all about the equipment, the shoes and the clubs that make a great golfer. It is actually better physical conditioning that allows the best golfers to hit drives farther.
In this 6 week course, you’ll strengthen your upper and lower body and you’ll focus on the CORE muscle group. You will also learn the importance of balance and flexibility and be taught the safe and proper way to stretch. A golf pro and fitness expert will together teach the importance of being in shape and how it will make you a better golfer. Must bring a club to class

Indoor Golf Practice Range
|

An indoor golf net located above the pool (enter through the locker rooms) that will help you keep that golf swing grooved all winter!
Reservations can be made for 30 minute segments. No charge for YMCA members; non-members - day fee. Lessons are available from PGA affiliated professionals.
The YMCA supplies the golf balls, you supply one or two clubs (no bags, carts or caddies, please). Only woods and 1-5 irons. A putting mat is also available. Call Bill for more details.
