Winter High School Girls' Volleyball League

This is a great way for your team to keep their skills sharp over the winter. Be sure to sign up!

WHEN: 6 Weeks. Sunday afternoons.
TWO DIVISIONS: Varsity & Jr. Varsity
OFFICIATING: The YMCA will provide officials.
FEE: $125 per team.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Feb. 12, 2010 (All fees must accompany registrations.)

Girls' High School Summer Volleyball League
|
|
This league is designed for varsity and junior varsity caliber players from the high school level in an effort to keep their skill level high for the fall season. The number of games will depend on the number of teams registered. In order for your team to be placed on the schedule, all fees must be paid by May 16th. Additions or changes to rosters can be done at the captains’ meeting. Rosters area available at the YMCA. Rosters are also sent to area coaches.

Youth Volleyball
|
|
Skills & fundamentals are the basis of the YMCA Youth Volleyball Program. Children will develop their volleyball skills, while at the same time learn to play as a team, play fair, and have a fun time with children their own age. This program is for Ages 6-11.
DATES: Feb. 23 - Mar. 30, 2010
DAYS: Tuesday
TIME: 6 - 8 year olds – 6:00 pm
9 - 11 year olds – 7:00 pm
FEE: Member – $10.00
Non-member - $50.00

Summer Volleyball Clinic
|
|
The Columbus Family YMCA and Julie Blaser and Janet Tooley would like to invite all area girls, 4-8 grades, to participate in a fun-filled volleyball clinic. Janet and Julie will bring ideas & drills from past experiences with association of successful area high school participation & coaching staffs. Janet, Julie and their staff have planned 4 days of volleyball skills and technique development. The clinic will be held in the Gym II at the YMCA and will lend the opportunity to tune up on passing, setting and serving skills. All participants should have knee pads and each participant will receive a YMCA volleyball T-shirt.
