Youth Space Supervision
The Youth Space is back this Fall!
Located in the Fieldhouse, the Youth Space provides a fun and welcoming environment for kids, ages 6-12 to enjoy games, crafts, STEM activities, scooters, jump rope, a hangout area, and more. Homework help is also available when needed.
The Youth Space is available Monday–Thursday from 4–7 p.m. Parents or guardians must remain in the YMCA building during Youth Space hours.
Free for YMCA members.
Afterschool Program
Free program sponsored by United Way
YMCA staff pick up registered youth at participating schools and bring them to the YMCA for an afternoon filled with games, crafts, community, and homework time. Space is limited, and registration is required. Pickup is available at most schools. Youth must be picked up by 5:30 PM at the YMCA. Register in person at the YMCA or online at columbusy.org.
Monday: Emerson, Homeschool, Immanuel, North Park
Tuesday: Centennial, Columbus Christian, St. Bonaventure, St. Isidore
Thursday: Lost Creek, Shell Creek, West Park
School Days Out Camps
When kids are out of school, YMCA camp is in session! We will have various activities and care from 7:30am-5:30pm. Games and fun at the Y, crafts, and more. Lunch and snacks not provided. Minimum of 10 must be registered to hold program.

Kids Night Out
Parents—drop off your kids for a night of fun at the YMCA! Kids will swim, eat pizza, and play. For ages 3 through grade 4. Space is limited. 6-9pm. Swimming first, followed by pizza, then games and bouncehouses. Preschoolers will not swim.

Preschool Programming
Treasure Hunters
Designed for ages 2 to 5, this playful, imagination-filled experience takes place in the shallow hook of our lap pool, where kiddos will hunt for hidden treasure, dive for starfish, play musical games, pretend to be pirates, float in boats, and so much more!

Tumbling
Designed for little ones aged 3 to 5 who are fully potty trained, this class focuses on building coordination, strength, and confidence through playful, age-appropriate activities.

Gym and Swim
This 4 week program is for children ages 3-5 who are fully potty trained. Classes run on Mondays and Wednesdays of each week. Mondays will be devoted to pool time, where the focus will be on water comfort and water safety. Wednesdays will be spent in the gym, where the focus will be motor skills, coordination, and social skills.

Youth Sports
4v4 Soccer League
Tuesdays from November 3-24 | Grades 2-8
Join the YMCA in this youth program for grades 2-8. Give young athletes more opportunities to get touches, stay engaged, improve decision-making, and create scoring opportunities in this fast-paced league for boys and girls. Teams are guaranteed two 22-minute games each night. All games will be played on Fieldhouse turf. Grades may be combined based on registration numbers. Players can only be on one roster.

This league will run for 3 weeks, with games played on Saturdays. Separate divisions will be made for boys and girls. Referees will be provided by the YMCA.

Rookie Basketball League | Begins in January
Saturdays | Dates TBD
A great way for your child to enjoy the game of basketball in a team atmosphere for our youngest ball players! This league will run for five weeks, with practices and games on Saturday mornings. All grades will play 4 on 4 to assure maximum playing time and involvement for all participants. Volunteer coaches are needed (please contact Sports Director, Vaughn Breit, if you are interested in coaching)! Team t-shirts are included with the cost of registration.
*This is a developmental league that is intended to teach youth the basics of basketball . We will not keep score for any of the games, and everyone will play as equally as possible! We will only accept individual registrations, and players will be assigned to a team/coach afterwards.*
