We believe in health and well-being for everyone. We are here for you, to help you grow in spirit, mind and body. Our nationally certified trainers will help you; we will coach, motivate and inspire you to reach your goals. At the Y, you will be part of a welcoming and nurturing environment where together we will achieve the results you have always wanted whether you are a beginner just starting out, or experienced and looking to take your training to the next level.

Meet our Trainers

Marcia Grant

Marcia has been an SCW certified personal trainer since 2010. She graduated from Midland Lutheran College with a BSN in Nursing. She is certified in weight loss, BodyPump, advanced BodyPump, BodyCombat, pilates, group exercise, senior fitness, diabetes and Parkinson’s fitness classes. Her passions are fitness and weight loss for all ages and fitness levels.

Rachele Eller

Rachele is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.  She teaches group fitness classes and is certified in Les Mills CXWorx, BodyPump, and YMCA Healthy Lifestyles and Principles. She also teaches Step Aerobics. Rachele is an avid and competitive runner. She has run many races including 10Ks, 15Ks, half and full marathons. Rachele has a love for fitness and enjoys working with all fitness levels and age groups.

Amy Adamy

Amy is a certified personal fitness trainer through AFAA since 2005. She spent years teaching Stott Pilates, Strength and Core Classes and bootcamp before concentrating on personal training. Her focus with clients is being functionally fit and injury prevention. Amy can help members become more comfortable and confident on the wellness floor and help program a variety of exercises to keep personal routines progressing.

Gemini Wesley

Gemini is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. She played collegiate soccer at her alma mater, Dakota Wesleyan University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science and an M.A. in Education. She specializes in weight loss, strength/conditioning, functional training, and athletic performance and enjoys working with people of all ages. Gemini has been involved in the coaching and fitness world since 2019 and has a passion for helping and educating people on how to set and achieve goals as well as helping them successfully pursue and live a healthier lifestyle. 

Jen Brownlow

Wellness Director

Jen Brownlow is our Wellness Director. She started as a full-time employee at the YMCA in October 2000. Her Fitness career did start at the YMCA in 1995 as a Step Instructor. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Jen is a ACE certified Personal Trainer and she is currently certified as a Les Mills BodyPump and BodyCombat instructor. Jen has taught dance aerobics, group cycling and silversneakers classes. She loves to motivate participants and help them find the type of exercise that fits into their lives. Outside of the YMCA, Jen enjoys sports, gardening, scrapbooking, volunteering at church, and attending her kids’ activities.

Cari Franzen

Health Coach

Cari Franzen joined our YMCA Staff as a Health Coach in February 2020. She is originally from Hatton, North Dakota.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Mayville State University and her Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse.  Cari is an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist. She is passionate about the YMCA and the core values that the YMCA stands for.  Cari enjoys working with people of all ages and helping them to lead a healthy lifestyle. Cari is married to David and they have two children Beau and Kinley.  In her free time, she enjoys exercise, sports, spending time with friends and family and attending her kids activities.

Gilberto Martinez

Gilberto is certified personal trainer and nutritionist under the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). As a prior United States Marine, he has experience in training Marines in physical fitness and general nutrition, resulting in physical performance and weight loss. Also taking part in Mixed Martial Arts with a combined 10 year experience with Muay Thai, boxing, Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, and weight training. He is able to train individuals on Aerobic and Anaerobic exercises. With a passion for physical fitness and a positive mental attitude, he is able to instruct any age group with programming.  Ultimately leading to a healthy lifestyle and instilling confidence from the ground up.

Group Personal Training

Workout with your friends or let us find some people to workout with. Group Training still has the same one-on-one experience but you are also motivated by others in your group.

To sign up for personal training, please fill out the form provided and return to the form to the Welcome Center Desk or contact Jennifer Brownlow, at or 402.564.9477. She will pair you with a trainer as soon as possible to start your road to fitness success!
