Summer Camp

Get your kids outside this summer! Sign up for a week of trying new things: hiking, group games, fishing, archery, canoeing, kayaking, crafts, Gaga ball, and much more! YMCA Summer Day Camp at Camp Pawnee is a great place for kids to explore, learn, and grow mentally, physically, and spiritually. You don’t want to miss this summer!

There is a daily option if you can’t make a full week of camp but still want to attend one or a few days during the week.

Multiple child discount: Save $5 for your second child in the same week of camp. $10 for your third child in the same week of camp. Only applies to multiple campers in the same week of camp.

Deer Camp (ages 6-11, Must be 6 by June 7, 2021)
This week will be full of activities such as hiking, boating, swimming, archery, crafts, games, and friendships! Each child will be placed in an age appropriate group, led by a trained counselor, and will enjoy activities in a small and large group setting.

Chipmunk Camp (Ages 4–5 and must be 4 by June 28, 2021) HALF-DAY CAMP | Mornings Only: 8 AM–Noon
Start your child on a lifelong adventure in the great outdoors. This is a week of half days (4 hour) introductions to YMCA Day Camps. Traditional camp activities will be done including hiking, crafts, games, swimming and more. This is a great chance to introduce your little ones to camp!

Travel Camp (Ages 8–12)
Three days of uniquely fun adventures with the Columbus Family YMCA Camp Staff.

DAY 1: Columbus Day: Horseback riding, Loup River Hike, Lake North trails—lunch

DAY 2: Island Oasis–Grand Island

DAY 3: Henry Doorly Zoo–Omaha

Niobrara River Canoe Trip (Ages 9–14)
Float on Nebraska’s only national scenic river—the Niobrara River. Meals, camping, canoeing and entry fees included in the trip fee. Campers who attend this trip MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM! Side trips will be made to nearby Nebraska State Parks.
A great way to see some of the cool things Nebraska has to offer.

Parent/Child Baseball Trip

The Y bus will take parents/grandparents/children to watch America’s Pastime–baseball! The bus will leave at 4:00 PM. Game time is 7:05 PM. Price includes bus ride and game admission. Food, beverages and souvenirs are the participants responsibility.
