Youth Sports at the Columbus Family YMCA is a great way to introduce the next generation of kids to the sports world.
Our youth sports department offers various leagues and clinics for all age groups throughout the entire year. Fundamentals, recreation, sportsmanship, and values are just some of the many things kids will learn while developing a healthy mind, body, and spirit.

ROOKIE BASKETBALL LEAGUE
A great way for your child to enjoy the game of basketball in a team atmosphere for our youngest ball players! This league will run for six weeks, with practices and games on Saturday mornings. All grades will play 4 on 4 to assure maximum playing time and involvement for all participants. Volunteer coaches are needed (please contact the Sports Director if you are interested in coaching)! Team t-shirts are included with the cost of registration.
*This is a developmental league that is intended to teach youth the basics of basketball. We will not keep score for any of the games, and everyone will play as equally as possible! We will only accept individual registrations, and players will be assigned to a team/coach afterwards.
Kindergarten division (Must be 5 by Start of League)
1st-2nd Grade division
3rd-4th Grade division (if numbers allow)
*Boys and girls will be in separate divisions as long as registration allows.

Join us for our Rookie Flag Football League! This league will run for six weeks, with practices and games on Tuesday night’s. Each team will practice immediately before their game, and all teams will play one game per week. VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED (please contact the Sports Director if you are interested in coaching)! Team t-shirts are included with the cost of registration. Both boys and girls are welcome to play!

INTRO TO VOLLEYBALL CLINIC
Come and learn the basics of volleyball and sharpen your skills in this introductory clinic! All participants will learn and develop basic volleyball skills including passing, setting, spiking, serving and defense. There is a limit of 20 participants per session, so be sure to register early!
There are two sessions to choose from or you can sign up for both sessions.
Session 1: February 9 – March 2
Session 2: March 16 – April 6
Day: Tuesday Evenings
Time: 6 PM – 7 PM Session for 1st-3rd graders
Time: 7 PM – 8 PM Session for 4th-6th graders
Registration Fee: YMCA Member: $20
Registration will open online and at the YMCA for members on January 25.
Non-members may register starting February 1.
